Carbon Free Mountain View's May 2016 general meeting marked its third year in operation. At the meeting, members suprprised Co-Founders Cherie Walkowiak, John Scarboro, and President Bruce Karney. They presented each of the founding members with a certificate of appreciation from County Supervisor Joe Simitian for their help in creating the Silicon Valley Clean Energy program.
